LILY & BUD

The problem was to create a system of three or more packages for a chosen company that was not only beautifully designed but also functional for the company and consumer. Lily & Bud is a fictional, all natural, organic soap company based in Austin, Texas. They have a full soap line with bath bombs, bath salts, after bath lotions, face masks, and their classic bars of soap. Wholesome ingredients make wholesome products. Lily & Bud products are made to be enjoyable and to be enjoyed. For this product, I sought to create a packaging system that was cohesive and fun while setting Lily & Bud apart from the competition. Typical soap companies use blue tones and calming soft color schemes, but I wanted Lily & Bud to be more energetic and lively with their colors. I also challeneged myself to get out of comfort zone of sleek geometric design elements and pushed myself to design with more organic elements to match the company's personality.
